The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has appointed JLL’s Carolina Queimado and MVGM’s Miguel Kreiseler as Co-Chairs of the ULI Portugal Residential Product Council, with both serving on a voluntary basis for the next two years.
With a background in architecture, Carolina Queimado is currently an urban consultant with JLL in their strategic consulting and research team. Her primary focus is on residential and mixed-use projects, providing important market insights and adding value to large projects, clients, and developers. With over 12 years’ experience in complementary areas, Carolina has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Portuguese housing market.
Miguel Kreiseler is a managing director of European property management firm MVGM, where he leads a team managing assets valued at over €1.2 billion. During a career spanning over 30 years, he has successfully led and optimized diverse real estate portfolios, including offices, hotels, shopping centers, residential portfolios, and mixed-use developments. His focus is on driving value and inspiring growth in the industry.
ULI Portugal’s Residential Product Council’s focus is on promoting the development of high quality, affordable housing through collaboration and cooperation among diverse stakeholders in the sector. The intention is to create a platform including organising meetings for sharing knowledge, experience, and successful strategies from both Portugal and internationally, showcasing best practice to help support the growth of affordable housing in Portugal.
Carolina Queimado said: “Housing is a critical sector in real estate as it directly affects every one of us. Our goal is to leverage the collective knowledge and expertise across various industries to actively participate in the discussion and implementation of sustainable and affordable residential solutions at a large scale.”
